Summer Break

This is our last summer before school starts for Jaxon! He actually started for a few months back in April and May but this is the official start of school him with a back to school shopping list and a snack schedule and everything!

We've made sure we've crammed in everything we possibly can.

We went and saw Panic! at the Disco. They are one of my favorite bands. Isn't it obvious I was excited?

Brian and I were having a conversation about the "Mount Rushmore" of bands. Top 4 bands you have to see. This is one of my Mount Rushmore's and I honestly didn't think I'd ever get a change to see them. It was hours of glorious, loud music followed by a very hoarse voice the next day.

We also painted our nails. Isn't is the sweetest that he wants to match his mom? Every time that I paint my finger nails he goes "blue nails too!", it makes me happy as a mom that he wants to be like me. Also, fun fact, did you know blue nails means you are Catboy and pink nails means you are Owlette.

We've had several splash pad dates this summer. It's hot in Arizona that if you don't go to the splash pad by 8am you are asking to sweat and get a sunburn. Both boys love it though and I swear Jaxon would like at a splash pad if you let him.

The zoo has been lots of fun. Jaxon got to ride the carousel and of course had to pick the giraffe, his favorite animal but it's one of two animals that don't move. He didn't seem to mind to much though. Carson on the other hand, the moment the carousel started moving he started crying. I sat out a round so Jaxon and Brian could enjoy it just the two of them.

Lastly, we got to visit a new therapy center for kids. They had an open house and so we went to see what it was like and meet some of the awesome workers there. The people were so sweet and really love what they do. Plus most importantly, it seemed that the kids loved the space and all the different things they had to play with and on. Carson especially loved the sensory ball pit. It was hard to leave without any of them.

I hope everyone is enjoying their summer!

2 Year Anniversary

May 15th is our anniversary. For out two year anniversary we went to the Grand Canyon. It really couldn't have been greater. Here are some of the pictures from this past weekend. This was our cabin and the view from our window We learned how to lasso and saw tadpoles Relaxed and enjoyed the view I do have some travel tips for you. If a place if called "Out of this World", you really should stop and try their food. Eat a burger, take a picture, order a cake (try to be better than me and snap a picture before you scarf it down), also, order a pizza to take back to your room. It'll be worth it. Trust me.

Summer

I had a great summer. I know I was gone for a while but I have LOTS of fun stuff to share with you guys. I redesigned the blog (awesome right?), got grass in the backyard (you can see a little pic of it at the top of the blog plus some pics in here), we grilled, and I did a super fun side job. Here are some pictures of us having fun. How tasty does this look? Can you guess what I'm doing for my side job? It's hard to see I know. My hubby took the picture with one of our cell phones. BUT I'm actually doing team pictures for a school. How exciting is that? So Brian started back in Boy Scouts. Now he was an eagle scout and it turns out he was the very first eagle scout from his troop. How many girls out there dreamed of a man in uniform? Well let this be a lesson to you. BE SPECIFIC when you dream and or pray for these things; otherwise, you will get a blurry picture of a dork. But after this update I had better take a break. It looks like someone i...

Exciting News

So during my last post I mentioned that I have some exciting news to share. I currently work as an intern at an unnamed electric company. Now, this is a great job! I love it, I love my boss; however, it's not a place I see myself staying and being there in 5 years. I started poking around looking at more permanent jobs around 2 months ago. About a month ago I starting talking to a company that my mother-in-law works for. Well my last day at the unnamed electric company is on Friday! This is very exciting. But there is lots of cloak and dagger going on here. It is time for the big reveal. I just got the job as staff support at Crisis Pregnancy Center . It's a wonderful place. For those of you that don't know about it, please go to website and read about it. It's a Christian based organization that is pro-life and does phenomenal things for women, men too! This is a wonderful direction that God is taking my family. Please keep our family ...
