I have been super busy lately! Brian and I are remodeling/renovating the back yard. It's exhausting really. So after loading 121 (Oh yes, I kept count) pavers into my car I need something to drink.
Not just any drink. I needed alcohol. Not just alcohol, I needed summer in a glass. Are you starting to see a pattern here?
I have an alcohol shelf in my fridge. Don't judge. I'm still 22, I'm allowed these things. This summer cocktail started off with me rummaging around the shelf and ended with a sigh and imagining I was on a beach somewhere, or at least somewhere it was bright enough for a large sunhat while wearing a swimsuit.
This is pretty easy to make. Start with slicing some lime and grab a couple shots of vodka.
Now grab some dear friends of mine. Club Soda and CranApple. Essential for any fridge.
Lastly, pour some drinks and garnish with a lime. I would have used an umbrella if I had one. You should have one. Put it in there and call it a night!
This is not a very exact recipe.
Slice 3-4 limes. Fill a pitcher 1/4 with ice. Add you're shots. Fill just over half with club soda then the rest of the way with CranApple. Squeeze your lime and drop in the pitcher. Pour into glasses and garnish with lime. To make placing lime on rim easier slice wedge with knife and slide on glass.
Makes 8-10 servings and keeps for a week in the fridge.
